22nd Portfolio in the Small Cap Growth Series
Santa Barbara, CA – March 18, 2019: A new Small Cap Growth UIT Portfolio (FRUYTX) was launched on March 18, 2019, 22nd in the Small Cap Growth Series. The portfolio will terminate June 18, 2020.
The Sabrient Small Cap Growth UIT Series invests in 50 top-ranked small-cap stocks representing a cross-section of industries that Sabrient believes are positioned to perform well in the coming year. The stocks are GARP stocks – stocks that represent "growth at a reasonable price."
The strategy includes the Sabrient Earnings Quality Rank (EQR), a proprietary forensic accounting factor that ranks the conservatism of a company’s accounting. Companies with aggressive accounting practices are penalized in the rankings, while companies with overly aggressive accounting practices are eliminated in an effort to avoid companies that could be overstating or even “creating” the reported growth.
