Sabrient SectorCast ETF

Sabrient SectorCast ETF has a much smaller universe of underlying stocks. It aggregates the Outlook scores only for the constituents within each of the ten US sector iShares ETFs. Note that the sector classification system is the S&P Dow Jones indices, which in some cases places a given company into a sector classification that is different from TRBC. Also, we prefer to use iShares for the ETF rankings rather than Sector SPDRs because the SPDRs only divide up the S&P 500 (large-cap) companies, while iShares each have bigger constituencies that include mid- and small-caps. Still, this universe is smaller than that of our broad SectorCast Ranking, and does not include ADRs of large foreign companies.
The Sabrient SectorCast ETF rankings appear in the weekly Sector Detector market letter and blog. Unlike the sectors themselves, the ETFs can be traded.
To facilitate trading, this SectorCast ETF ranking also shows Sabrient's proprietary Bull Score and Bear Score for each ETF, in addition to our proprietary Outlook score. The Bull and Bear scores are backward-looking indicators of recent sentiment trends. A high Bull Score indicates that stocks within the ETF have tended recently toward relative outperformance during particularly strong market periods, while a high Bear Score indicates that stocks within the ETF have tended to hold up relatively well during particularly weak market periods.
