For the first time ever, the Bank of Japan is selling stocks out of its vast portfolio. The announcement shocked the markets though mostly the media.

The major takeaway from the week was continuing strength in the U.S. economy, which was a bit of a turnaround from the previous week.

For years, silver has been underestimated and overlooked. But as we move deeper into an era defined by debt, currency debasement, and resource competition, governments are waking up.

That gap between current fundamentals and future potential poses the real dilemma.

On Friday, the S&P briefly hit 6,666 before closing the week at 6,664. That is up 10x or 1000% from Friday March 6 2009 when it briefly hit 666 – the low of The Great Recession.
